Friends,
Most of you know that grief and mourning, especially in our wise Jewish traditional ways, has been one of my portals to the Sacred and to Healing. As my friend R. Shifrah Tobacman says, “grief attended to is lifegiving”.
I am honored to be part of a series of classes offered online and in person (Bay Area) that addresses different aspects of grief and mourning. It begins this week. Take a look and register or spread the word. With other teachers who will be teaching on a variety of topics, I will be teaching briefly about Palliative Care and the End of Life Options Act this week. (online only).
Down the road I will be offering two classes (with wonderful Zoe Goldbatt): One supporting survivors of family suicide (April 18) and one experiential class using writing and/or art as aids to mourning (May 23 at Kehillah Community Synagogue). Those classes are hybrid.
All the classes will be taught by wonderful teachers. Please share. Let us continue to attend to our grief.
If you prefer not to receive my blog posts, please click here. You will still receive my very occasional newsletters letting you know when I will be teaching or opening up a group.
